Idaho Kombucha has subtle, nuanced flavor while still retaining the taste and health benefits of traditional kombucha. Created to be equally delicious and healthful, we strive for the perfect balance between sweet and tart!
Our traditionally fermented kombucha is a living, functional beverage - never diluted, pasteurized or from concentrate. We begin by brewing sweet tea from purified water, organic and Fair Trade black teas, green teas and cane sugar. To this base we add kombucha from a previous batch and our SCOBY mother. Then we let it ferment in a warm environment for an average of two weeks, carefully monitoring and sampling to ensure the highest quality. This ancient fermentation method consumes sugar and caffeine while transforming simple ingredients into probiotics, beneficial bacteria, organic acids and B-vitamins.
